When you invest with Lantern Financial, you are buying an existing loan that has gone through a rigorous examination including a screening of the borrower; an appraisal, a title report; and a personal inspection of the secured property by management.
Our first rule of investing is the protection of principal. To that end, we primarily make first trust deeds and we only lend up to 60% of the appraised value of the secured property.
